DIY with a Pro at your side
There are so many people now who want to work on their own home to save some money and earn the sense of pride that can only come from having done it yourself. However, not everyone has all the skills, tools, and knowledge to take on their project. The Work with a Pro program helps you bridge the gap.
I started working with homeowners in order to combine my passions for carpentry/renovations with teaching. I had no idea how popular this program would become. There are so many people who want to work on their own home, and who have great skills and potential but need a little instruction to get started, or along the way. Many of my clients use some holiday time to work along side me on their projects; others get involved on a more ad hoc basis.
This program is very flexible. You can work with me as much or as little as you would like. You need no skills, and I will teach you as much or as little as you wish. Many clients have good skills and only need me to come in on occasion to help with difficult work and to plan out work that they can do until the next time I am needed. Regardless of how you decide to structure the experience with me, you will end up with a professionally finished project, new skills, knowledge, and a sense of pride that will last as long as the work: a lifetime.

We are small and flexible, specializing in custom carpentry and contracting, from involved projects to very small jobs. We also have very popular “Work with a Pro” and “Advice from a Pro” programs for people who are DIYers and need some help or advice. You have the chance to work and learn as much or little as you wish, while you complete your own project and save money. No matter what we do, you can be sure that the work will meet all of your expectations and go well beyond all building codes. It is work that will last a lifetime.

We are located in Rockwood Ontario and generally serve Wellington and Halton Regions.
